Of all the different types of fish, salmon is known to be the most nutritious. It is known to play a major role in the child’s brain development, improves vision, boosts mood, enhances immunity and even prevents eczema. You can serve you baby pureed salmon as early as six months old.
Eggs are a phenomenal source of protein which are the building blocks for hormones, skin, tissues, and more. Eggs in the body offers a healthy portion of choline which plays a role in brain development. Eggs are also known to help boost the human immune system. You can add eggs to your baby’s meals from six months.
Oat is a form of whole grain food that retains the entire goodness of grains after cooking. It is rich in fiber and it is a great meal for the prevention of constipation. it is rich in iron, magnesium and zinc. Oats can also be fed to babies from 6 months. I’ll share a few oats recipes here. Do not, however give your baby flavored oats as they contain added sugar.
Groundnuts are a good source of vitamin E, a potent antioxidant that protects nervous membranes plus thiamin to help the brain and nervous system use glucose for energy plus adding groundnut paste to your baby’s meals makes it extra yummy. Nuts can be introduced at 6 months+
Beans are an excellent source of soluble fiber, an ingredient that regulates blood sugars and, as a result, may help soften mood swings and calm emotions. The health benefits of beans for babies include good supply of proteins, good source of vitamins like vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, high amount of dietary fiber, supply of antioxidants and supply of essential minerals like calcium, iron, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, sodium and zinc.Green beans can be introduced to your baby’s diet at about 6 months of age, but introducing beans so early can cause certain issues such as increase in flatulence and there is also a chance of indigestion as well.So introduce it carefully.

Specifically, tomatoes, kontomire and carrots. When it comes to vegetables, always go for the bright and bold. Kontomire is rich in antioxidants and high in iron and folate. Avocado is an excellent fruit that it supplies essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, folate, vitamin B-6, niacin, thiamin, calcium, iron, magnesium phosphorous, potassium, zinc and sodium. These vitamins and minerals are essential for the overall development of the baby.
The right age to introduce avocados to your baby is between 6-8 months of age.
