Banana and Papaya Puree

This is one of the easiest and nutritious baby foods you can make for your baby. Papaya and bananas are almost always in abundance and never go out of season. This puree makes for a great snack in between meals for babies 6 months and above.

You will need:

1 small ripe papaya- It needs to be soft for a smooth puree. Choose the ones that look yellow on the outside and feels soft to touch
2 ripe small bananas
50ml of breastmilk, formula or water
A blender for pureeing
Chopping board for cutting
Potato peeler for peeling papaya (you can definitely use a knife too)

Method:
Wash the fruits thoroughly under running water.
Peel and slice bananas.
Peel and slice papayas into cubes
Put the cut banana and papaya in the blender
Add your liquid of choice and blend until smooth. For a runny consistency, add more liquid.

It is best to serve immediately but it is also hard to make baby food for only one serving so you can freeze the rest for later.
