Carrot Puree

Carrots make a great start to starting your baby on solids. I love it because it is good for the skin and it is easy to make (as usual)

You just need carrots. Select your carrots well because this is for your baby’s food so don’t compromise on quality.

Cut your carrots into smaller pieces and boil until soft. Do not add salt because your baby does not need it yet. He/She gets enough from breast milk.

Let it cool and blend in a blender or food processor. Add more water for  a lighter puree.

Like I said, easy to make. You can add breast milk or formula if you are now introducing your baby to solids.

Look out for recipes that will need carrot puree on the site.
